A: I really need to make some extra money.

A: I don’t have time to work more.
B: Try getting a tutoring job. They pay well.
A: Tutoring positions aren’t easy to get.
B: There’s a website you can check out for part-time tutoring.

Those who want to make some extra cash on the side can get a part-time job.
ex> Many college students are looking for jobs to make some extra cash.
ex> Why don’t you get a part-time job if you’re low on money?

This is very common with college students who have to pay tuition.
* tuition: 등록금

Part-time jobs typically pay minimum wage and can require long hours.
* minimun wage: 최저인금
ex> Does this position pay more than minimum wage?
ex> Working on this project will require long hours.

Many college students look for tutoring or teaching jobs.

The schedule is much more flexible with better pay.
ex> He offered me better pay at his company.

But these jobs aren’t easy to come by.
* come by: 얻다, 구하다

Others work as baristas at coffee shops, cashiers at convenience stores, or servers at restaurants.

Some non-conventional part-time jobs may include amateur modeling, working for driver-for-hire services, or writing reviews for new products.
