* contain: (감정을) 억제하다, 참다
ex> How will we contain this bad news?
ex> The police tried to contain the large crowd.

* massacre  [|mӕsəkə(r)]: the killing of a large number of people at the same time in a violent and cruel way.  ex> the bloody massacre of innocent civilians

* bloodshed: 유혈 사태, 살해
ex> We are trying to avoid bloodshed.
ex> Wars cause pain and bloodshed.
