6/13 Describe the city of Pohang.

Pohang is a major port city located on the southeastern coast of Korea.

Pohang is a high-tech industrial city.

When you mention the name Pohang, most Koreans will think of the steelmaker POSCO.

Pohang is the third most populous city in North Gyeongsang Province.

There's also a piece of land that juts out, called Homigot.

Many people flock to watch the first sunrise of the New Year there.

Pohang will become more accessible when the KTX line is completed in 2014.
