The Ministry is responsible for South Korea's education and scientific and technological advancement.
ex> Teachers are responsible for their students' safety during field trips.

It is currently led by the Minister Lee Ju-ho.

The ministry seeks to provide quality education to all Koreans.

cf> quality (service, time, etc..) 명사이지만 형용사의 의미를 가진다.

It aims to build a diversified education system and expand education welfare.

* education welfare: 교육 복지

It is also in charge of huge national projects such as the National English Ability Test (NEAT).

The ministry focuses on cultivating movers and shakers in the field of science and technology.
* movers and shakers: 실력자, 거물
* cultivate: 양성하다. 경작하다.
ex> TIME magazine features 100 of the most well-known movers and shakers in the world every year.
