Samulnori is a genre of Korean folk music.

There are four percussion instruments in samulnori.

The 꽹과리(kkwaenggwari) is a small brass gong.

It's played with a bamboo mallet.

The kkwaenggwari player is the leader of the quartet.

징(ching) is a larger gong played with a padded stick.

The 장구 (janggu) is a double-sided drum.

It looks like an hourglass.
