I used to ski, but I switched to snowboarding several years ago.

I first learned how to balance on the board on the bunny slope.

And then I learned how to make turns.
* make turns: 방향을 틀다.
I fell on my butt many times while I was doing that.

I got bruises all over my body.

It took me a while to get the hang of it.
