Talk about what you had to do to prepare for your wedding.

I remember having to do so many things for our wedding. My husband and I got help from a wedding planner. She helped us make arrangements for the wedding. We first had to book a wedding hall. We looked at several places and picked one that we liked. And then, we went to several boutiques to try on our wedding gowns. We also had our pictures taken for the wedding album. After that, we sent out the wedding invitations. Plus, we also had to get an MC and an officiator for the wedding. Last of all, we had to make plans for the honeymoon. On the day of the wedding, everything went by so fast.

행사나 여행 등의 여러 가지 준비를 한다는 말을 영어로는 make arrangements라고 한다. 다양한 준비 과정이 있을 것이므로 항상 복수형으로 사용하는 경향이 있다.

You can have consultations with a few before picking one.

They’ll go over what types of packages and services they can offer you.
