* big of you: generous, kind-hearted, self-sacrificial of you

* put one up: to provide accommodation for one
ex> We’ll be putting my cousin up when she visits here at Christmastime.
ex> I know it’s short notice, but could you put me up for a few days?

* find one’s feet: to achieve or regain a stable existence
ex> Our oldest son has had difficulty finding his feet.

* black sheep: a family or group member who does not fit and is seen as a problem or embarrassment
ex> My cousin Todd was the black sheep in our family when he was a teenager.

I guess he is, but I feel for him because he always ota bum rap from our parents. He’s just a very sensitive guy - that’s all.
* feel for one: to sympathize with one
ex> I feel for you, but I don’t have any extra money to lend you right now.

* bum rap: an unfair accusation, criticism, or punishment
ex> It was a bum rap that the whole class was punished for one student’s actions.

@ We’re sleeping in our living room for the time being.  우리는 당분간 거실에서 자야 돼.
