12/12 Hoppang


1. in elementary school: 초등학교 때
ex> He could solve differential calculus when he was in elementary school.

2. every so often: 가끔, 종종
ex> Every so often, she does charity work in Seoul.
ex> I usually have Korean style breakfast but every so often I have cereal.

3. be not easy for: ~에게 쉽지 않다
ex> It wasn't easy for him to visit his parents every month.

4. triumphantly: 의기양양하게
ex> He walked triumphantly into his office.
ex> They paraded the streets triumphantly.

5. back then: 그때는
ex> Back then the bus fare was only 50 won.

6. nowadays: 요즘은
ex> Nowadays people don't usually pay cash for their bus fares.

* hard-earn: 어렵게 얻은
* bun:  빵
* wheat flour: 밀가루
* dough: 반죽
* filling: 속재료, 소


@  It brings back a lot of memories.  옛날 생각이 많이 나게 하네.

1. He rides his motorcycle every so often.
2. The test wasn't easy for her.
3. People thought all cancers were incurable back then.
4. I don't play computer games nowadays.
