Bars are everywhere in Korea. Many bars are on busy streets with a lot of foot traffic.

Bars or pubs in back alleys are normally
smaller in size.

ex> Mom-and-pop stores are usually smaller
in size.
There are typical western bars that serve hard liquor. And then, there are
pubs that mainly serve beer.
* hard liquor: 양주
ex> I know some good places that serve
hard liquor.
I know the owner pretty well because I’m
a regular there.
* regular: 단골손님,
단골의
ex> I have been a regular at
this restaurant for 5 years.
@ Most of the customers are regulars. 대부분의 손님이 단골이야.
