Cosmetic surgery was once the domain of celebrities.

Nowadays, ordinary people get procedures such as double eyelid surgery or a nose job quite commonly.

Injections such as Botox have become extremely common as well.

Some people become obsessed with their looks and choose to go under the knife multiple times.

Critics worry that we are placing too much emphasis on our appearance.

Others support cosmetic surgery as a way of boosting one’s self-esteem.

Meanwhile, Korean cosmetic surgeons have earned an international reputation for their skills and expertise.

As a result, a growing number of foreigners are visiting Korea to undergo plastic surgery.
