PE 10/14 Too Much Violence

I think you're blowing things out of proportion to something that amounts to little more than a cartoon!

ex> If you continually blow things out of proportion, people will eventually not believe you anymore.

Studies show that violence on TV and video games leads kids to lash out violently anytime there's a conflict to solve.
* lash out: to respond violently or angrily to something
ex> The spoiled child always lashed out at his mother when he didn't get his way.

I don't understand why you're so set on getting this game for Brian, despite all of my objections.

ex> the widow was set on keeping her husband's business running, despite all obstacles.
