Sejongno is the busiest and most
prominent boulevard in Seoul. It’s located in the downtown area.

There are many landmarks along this road. The government
complex, Sejong culture Center,

the far end of the boulevard is Gyeongbok Palace, which was where the royal family used to live in during
the Chosun Dynasty.
Admiral Yi Sun-shin bravely fought
against the Japanese invasion back
in history.

More recently, a statue of King Sejong the Great was erected on Sejongno.
He was one of the greatest kings in Korean history, who created the Korean
alphabet, Hangul.
