ex> Driving 300 miles on one tank of gas was cutting it close. but we arrived safely.

2. a load off one's mind: 마음이 놓임, 걱정을 덜어 냄
ex> When my wife gets out of the hospital it will be a load off my mind.
ex> The good news took a load off my mind.

3. wolf down a meal: to eat something very rapidly and in very large pieces.  개걸스럽게 먹다, 급하게 먹다.
ex> I wish my sons would not wolf down a meal.
ex> Don't wolf your food down!
