4/1 April Fools' Day


* trick: 속이다, 속임수를 쓰다
ex> He will trick you into thinking he's attractive.

* ridiculous: 웃기는, 말도 안되는
* mock: 놀리다, 조롱하다
ex> Are you mocking me right now?

* naivete  [nɑ̀:i:vtéi,nɑ:ì:vətéi]: 순진함, 단순함
* gullible: 잘 속아 넘어가는
* dumbfounded: 말을 못하는, 어안이 벙벙한
ex> She was totally dumbfounded when she heard the news.

* get to: ~을 할 수 있다.
* pull a prank on: ~에게 장난을 치다
ex> I can't believe you pulled a prank on your best friend.

* first period: 1교시
* look on one's face: ~의 표정
ex> I really don't appreciate the look on your face right now.

* dazed: 멍한, 아찔한
ex> He said that the blow on his head really dazed him.

= rip someone off
ex> Tourists complain of being ripped off by local cab drivers.

1. It's so easy to trick him.
2. I'm a little dumbfounded by the whole situation.
3. I knew you would pull a prank on me today.
4. I don't like to see that look on your face.
