7/4 Talk about when you visited someone at a hospital.


* make visits to / make a visit to: ~을 방문하다
ex> I made a visit to my hometown last weekend.

cf> in hospital = in the hospital: 입원하여
ex> I had to be in the hospital for a couple of weeks.

* go empty-handed: 빈손으로 가다
ex> I don’t go empty-handed to someone’s house.

* munch on: 우적우적 씹다
ex> Do you have anything to munch on?

* appreciate company: 함께 있는 사람을 고마워하다
ex> Everyone appreciates company when they are at the hospital.

* lighten up: 기운을 북돋아 주다
ex> I took her out for dinner to lighten her up.
