7/2 Talk about elevators in Korea.

* high-rise building: 고층건물

ex> There are many high-rise buildings in the downtown area.

* even/odd numbered floor: 짝수 층/홀수 층

ex> I didn't know the elevator only goes to odd numbered floors.

* basement floor: 지하층

ex> There is convenience store on the basement floor.

* make stops: 멈추다

ex> The express bus doesn't make stop in the middle.

* cargo elevator: 화물 엘리베이터 = freight

ex> We don’t have a cargo elevator in our apartment building.

  

@ The elevator is out of service.  엘리베이터가 고장이야.

<HOMEWORK>

1. My office is located in a high-rise building.

2. We have to take this elevator for even numbered floor.

3. The restroom is on the basement floor.

4. We didn't make any stops in between.
