Korea’s state religion used to be Buddhism a long time ago. Today, many
Koreans still identify themselves as
Buddhists.
The biggest celebration in Buddhism is Buddha’s Birthday. It is the equivalent to Christmas for
Christians.

changes on the Western calendar

and provide meals to visitors on
