What do people here think of it? Because
I don’t know if I would refer to it as the “Eye” as much as the “eyesore.”

unattractive or ugly

I don’t think you’re the first one to come up with that joke. but it seems to
have grown on people here.
* come up with: to think of a clever
idea or phrase
ex> The scientist thought he might
have come up with a solution to the vexing problem.
I imagine it’s probably helpful for getting your bearings when you’re lost
in London. Just look up!
* get one’s bearings: to figure out in
which direction one is traveling
ex> Once we get our bearings,
we’ll be able to find the hidden treasure.
